I have finally organized all our August baby pictures on Flickr and put them together in a photo album.

As you can see from the pictures, Alison is holding her head up now, but not sitting on her own yet. She is also rolling over and as of yesterday, teething. She has two
little teeth poking through her bottom gums ALREADY! She is also over 16 pounds now, which is still in the 90th percentile.
Her size makes buying baby clothes confusing, because the clothes are supposedly based on age. If you don't understand, or you don't have kids yet, and you want to buy Alison some clothing, let me explain. Alison is 4 months old. This means that she should be fitting nicely into anything in the "3 to 6 months" size. However, she has now outgrown 3-6 month stuff, and is in to the "6 to 9 months" area.
Now I am thinking back to last year, when we were trying to plan ahead by buying her season-appropriate clothes in certain sizes. Now that winter stuff we bought in "6 to 9 months" could end up too small by the time the cold weather rolls around. Grrr!
Anyway, big baby. The other funny thing about a 16+ pound, 4 month old girl, is that by the time a baby is 16 pounds you hope they can sit up on their own. Because when they're all floppy and roly-poly, they get heavy after a while. Oh well, enough complaining! Go look at the pictures already!
