A Much Needed Update

I'll just skip ahead a wee bit from the last post - gotta start somewhere.

Alison started Kindergarten this year.  It's ALL DAY, 5 days a week, she loves it but is exhausted when she gets home.  Here she is on her first day.

Meanwhile, Zuzu is enjoying her time at home with Mommy.  Here she's practicing to be a 1950's housewife - if only she had some pearls.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

For Halloween, the girls were a ghost and a bat - no princesses here.  However, I had to make the costumes - they don't sell such simple things in the stores, because what idiot can't make a ghost costume, all you need is a sheet and a pair of scissors, right?  Well I refused to cover up my adorable daughters' face so I made things a little more difficult for myself.

Then earlier this month our little Zuzu turned 3 years old.  How do the years keep flying by?  She had a great little party with lots of kids and even Grandma and Grandpa were here.  Here she is looking quite grown up - she wanted her hair braided like Ali's.

While my parents were here we also made our traditional visit to the Mall of America to see the real Santa - 6 years in a row with the same guy!

Now we're just counting down the days until Christmas.  The girls are so excited and so am I.  Merry Christmas everyone!
