Grandpa and Ali

Tonight Ali made Grandpa a little sandwich out of some plastic food in her kitchen:

Grandpa:  Oh that's my favorite, what kind of cheese is this, the kind with the holes in it?
Ali:  Uh, Swiss cheese.
Grandpa:  Wow, you're really on the ball.
Ali:  What ball?

I don't know what was funnier, Dad being schooled on cheese by his Wisconsin granddaughter or Ali looking for the ball.

Love Ali's attempt to literally interpret all the colloquilisms... sometimes I do the same even though I do use a lot of slang. She's the serious half of the comedy team :)
