This is Rody. Alison loves Rody. He is a bouncy horse that we found at a cool little children’s store. It was the type of store that sold Sock Monkeys, retro Fisher Price toys, wooden play sets, handmade one-of-a-kind clothing, really cool kids shoes, things like that. We had a coupon for 20% off any item, so we went in to get something for Ali. There was actually a picture of the Rody toy on the coupon but we thought it might be a little small for her. Once she saw him though and started bouncing crazily on him, we knew what we were getting. We must have looked pretty silly to the passing cars walking around with a big blue horse under our arm. But it was so worth it because lately all Alison wants to do is have wild and crazy “horsy rides” on our feet, legs, back, you name it. This is where Rody comes in as the best toy ever, at least for now, until she discovers some new crazy game.
Oh and I almost forgot, the lady at the store told us that Rody could hold 400 pounds – random. Not sure why any 400 pound anything would want to sit on poor Rody, but I would kind of like to see what he looks like under that kind of pressure.
