Alison is still not walking yet which makes Irene's original prediction (that she would walk by April) incorrect. She is still pushing her walking cart, but now she has become quite the crazy driver. Before, she would carefully stand up and cautiously walk accross the floor, taking barely one step at a time... Now she begins pushing even before she has left her knees, and when she finally gets upright she charges accross the room with reckless abandon, the cart plowing down everything in it's path.
She has lost all regard for safety; in most cases, she is lucky to have two wheels on the ground at any given time. Here (at left) you can see the crazed look in her eyes after crashing the cart into a large chair. We attempted to catch a picture of her in action but she was too busy putting herself in danger for us to pause and grab the camera. And if you know us at all, you know that's saying something.
Speaking of danger (which, by the way, is Alison's actual middle name), her new tactic is to run the cart into something, then try to throw it in reverse. The way she does this is by walking around to the other side of the "bar", climbing into (or straddling) the cart itself, then attempting to push it backwards. This too is extremely dangerous, and serves as further proof that small children a) have no fear and b) do not yet understand the laws of physics - which together is a scary combination.
Then again, (at right) look at how happy she is. Eventually she will start walking - and then we can rest, for about 15 years, until she starts driving again.
