Irene hasn't been feeling too well today. She has some sort of cold, but not the flu... she was up for hours, sniffing and mouth-breathing all last night. I think we have gone through several boxes of kleenex -- er -- facial tissue since yesterday. I feel bad for her, but mostly I just don't want to catch whatever plague she has.
On a brighter note, the baby is active as ever. From the first moment the baby was detected with a microphone, we have known that this baby is a fast-mover. Today, the baby kicked so hard that the nearby cat was disturbed, and Irene's belly moved from side to side noticably. Some people say that a baby that is active in the womb is mellow when she comes out. This will be an interesting theory to test.
